McMoney

McMoney is a nice little app for Android. You get SMS and earn money for it.

Sounds easy? Yes, it is.

All you need to do is install their App McMoney from the Android Playstore.

As soon as you verify your phone number, you receive SMS every day. Sometimes none, sometimes one or more. You get paid for every SMS. How much you get depends on your location.

For example, I live in Austria and I earn 4,2 Cent per SMS. That’s quite good, I usually get 1 SMS per day.

The SMS you receive contains random text like „lj2othjügfwlöe“ and you don’t have to do anything with it. Just delete it. They are just used to test the connection of different telecommunication providers.

If you use SMS a lot, you could get annoyed, if you receive SMS from McMoney. But I, for example, don’t use SMS at all. That means, I turned down the sound for SMS and don’t even realize I got one.

I also installed MoneySMS and the work great together. McMoney pays better than MoneySMS, but the minimum cashout is higher. You need 4 Dollar to cashout with Paypal.

What do I get if I refer people?

McMoney also has a referral-programm, if someone enters your code while he registers. If he uses your code, he gets a one time bonus, as soon as he received enough messages. Unfortunately, they don’t tell you how many messages you need to receive and how high the bonus is. As soon as your referral gets his bonus, you also get a bonus. It’s a win/win situation. Is McMoney really legit?

Yeah, it is. It is operated by a company from the Netherlands called
CM Technology B.V. and of course, they also pay you. I already received a payment, as you can see here.

You can only cashout with Paypal, that’s a bit of a downside, but the payment arrives quite fast in a few days. You need at least 4 Dollar to cashout, as I already mentioned before.

Conclusion

McMoney is a great app, that pays you a few Cent every day without doing anything. It’s a nice form of passive income. Sure, the payment is not that high, but if you combine it with other Apps like MoneySMS, you get a few Euro every month.

Although, if you use SMS and don’t want to turn the sound for SMS off, you can get annoyed by the SMS. But very few people use SMS nowadays, that’s why that shouldn’t be an issue for most of you.
